Aaron Blackmer, Marketing Manager

Aaron Blackmer recently joined ALSC Architects as the head of our marketing team. With 21 years of marketing and design experience, his career has included graphic design, photography, videography, brand development & management. Aaron oversees all creative marketing work from concept to completion, translating marketing objectives into clear innovative strategies and ensuring visual communication and brand standards are met along the way. He is passionate about design and the art of storytelling, creating a human-to-human connection at the intersection of ALSC’s brand “why and what” and a client’s “how,” building a unique story of value and differentiation.

Joe Kutter

Joe is a great asset to the team, with a Master of Architecture from Kansas State. A transplant to Spokane from St. Louis, he wanted to take advantage of the mountains and winters all around this region and is a Cardinals super fan. He was inspired to become an architect from his first-time walking into Busch Stadium as a child. This was amplified by seeing the stadiums built for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Kimberly Lick

Kimberly Lick attended Washington State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art, and a minor in Museum Exhibition Studies. She was drawn to interior design because of her passion and interest in imagining how people utilize and interact with designed spaces, as well as expressions of color and texture.

Jeff Slichter is a Licensed Architect with nearly a decade of professional experience. He earned his Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Idaho. Jeff comes from a family where hard work and collaboration are core values. Designing, creating, and building are all intertwined and engrained throughout his family through the generations. Bringing value and sharing his talents as a member of the ALSC team feels like home.

Brittney Bland

A recent graduate of Washington State University, Brittney received her Bachelor of Architecture in 2021 and Master of Architecture in 2023; she had also previously achieved an Associate of Arts in 2017 from Pierce Community College during running start in high school. She loves the outdoors, healthy cooking, staying active, and anything design-related. Having a mind that constantly works with the relationship of shapes in the world around her, Brittney is extremely organized, analytical, and an out-of-box thinker. She has dreamed of being an architect since the age of eight.
