As ALSC’s Director of Design, Troy Bishop ensures every project has a solid framework by incorporating fundamental design principles. He provides innovative design direction and encourages team members to grow in their specific skill set.
Troy could often be found doodling cars and characters as a child. When his uncle, who is also an architect, gave him a tour of a mansion renovation he was working on, Troy knew this profession was for him. A Licensed Architect, Troy has a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Master of Architecture from Washington State University.
The restrained design of The Cathedral of Christ the Light by SOM is one of Troy’s favorite and most inspirational buildings. Costa Rica is the most recent stamp on his passport. The tropical weather, sandy beaches, and culture make this Central American country a favorite destination. In his free time, Troy loves hanging out with his wife and three kids.
