Micheal Walker

Michael’s journey in architecture began in the seventh grade with hand drafting classes, continuing through high school and leading to advanced studies at the University of Idaho. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Architecture (2003) and a Master's of Architecture (2004) from the University of Idaho. His career began with Miller Stauffer Architects (MSA) in 2004, where he steadily advanced to the role of Principal, a position he held from 2014 to 2024. Licensed to practice architecture in Idaho since 2010 and in Washington state since 2018, Michael has been dedicated to the field for over 30 years, with 20 years of professional practice.

As Senior Project Manager / Project Architect, Michael will take on key roles in project management, team coordination, and technical support. He will lead and collaborate with other team members to deliver cohesive architectural designs characterized by creativity and functionality. Michael’s extensive experience positions him as a versatile and valuable asset in meeting ALSC's high standards of excellence.

Among his numerous achievements, Michael is particularly proud of his work on the McEuen Park Redevelopment and the Ray and Joan Kroc Salvation Army Community Center, both in Coeur d’Alene. His commitment to community service is reflected in his active involvement in local groups such as the City of Coeur d’Alene Natural Open Space Committee, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Coeur Group.
