Built in support of the Paschal Sherman K-9 school and cultural center, the 2-story Paschal Sherman Dormitory provides housing for 100 students living on campus.
A common activity center is used to join the girls’ and boys’ dormitory wings into a cohesive facility for ease of supervision. Students are grouped two per room, with rooms grouped around informal gathering spaces that connect directly to hallways. Younger students are located on the ground floor near the live-in adult staff. Older students are located on the upper floor and enjoy rooms arranged in a four-person suite configuration.
The design encourages and supports social interaction among students and opportunities for informal gathering.
