Mid-Century Modern Architecture and ALSC

Mid-Century Modern Architecture arrived in Spokane in the late 1940s due, in large part, to a single group of architects who were young, ambitious and talented. This group included Royal McClure and Tom Adkison (ALSC's founders).  

The Studio Apartment was cutting-edge and one of the earliest expressions of modernism in Spokane. You can read more about the Studio Apartment project here:
